I am installing a web log analysis program and when I view the logfiles folder, I see there is a number of folders within it. W3SVC1, W3SVC2, W3SVC3, W3SVC4, W3SVC5, W3SVC6, W3SVC7, W3SVC9, W3SVC0, W3SVC10, W3SVC11, W3SVC12, as well as SMTPSVC numbered folders and MSFTPSVC numbered folders. L...more >>

inetinfo.exe getting higher CPU

The Inetinfo.exe is increasing its use of CPU until the IIS 4 died on my NT 4. Is it supposed to maintain a certain level as users use the my web applications but decrease back? so what reason made it kept increasing? Does anyone know if IIS under NT 4 (not sure which SP) blocks suspected attackers? I've written a spider that crawls through the web server reading information from the documents.
