The default web site has been removed from an IIS
(5.0.2195.6620) installation and an application is being
installed that requires the default web site. I would
rather not have to reinstall IIS since several other sites

Using Server 2000 with IIS 5.0.
SQL Server is on a different server than the IIS machine.

I have loaded IIS on my windows 2000 pro machine three
times. It doesn't start, it doesn't even show up anywhere
on the computer. iissrv.exe doesn't show up on task

We run IIS6 on a 2003 box, but have these random errors, where ASP pages
stop working.
There is no set time for it to happen, or particular page called, but it
also fixes it self.

I was just looking to the logfile configuration in IIS why the logfiles
don't contain the referer-field. But the tree-view in the "Extended logging
options" box is empty!?!

FTP Timing out issue

Having an issue with FTP connections timing out both for
download and uploading of large files. Thought that this
might be the passive setting on the FTP client but passive
switched off for downloads seems to correct the problem,
but uploading is still a problem.
