We are trying to port a ISAPI filter from IIS-5.0 to IIS-6.0. I came to know that some of the existing APIs are changed in IIS-6.0. Please let me know whether it is true or not. One of our servers (Windows 2000, SP4) does not run .asp- pages anymore. The Server does run .htm and .aspx pages without a problem. I removed the Application in IIS and restablished it - same error. I assume, the registration of the .asp pages got lost. The event viewer shows the follow...more >>

Since the last time I used IIS successfully, I installed W2K SP3, the Visual Studio .NET - 2003, and upgraded to XP and all windows upgrades for it. I can ping localhost but no banana when I try to start the IIS Admin service. Does anyone have a clue why I cant get IIS started? Any help...more >>

I have tried adding multiple websites using the instructions specified here, among other places http://www.iisanswers.com/Top10FAQ/t10-hostheaders.htm I have got one site with xxx.domain.com on port 80 and another on zzz.domain.com on port 8080, which is probably overkill but should still work....more >>
