Missing Applicaiton Pool Setting in IIS manager

Hi,
Sorry, it may be a stupid question. But I cannot find the application pool
setting in IIS manager. I only have "website" and "web server extension".

hi,
after install latests windows patches and Microsoft ASP.NET
ValidatePath module, IIS hangs sometimes every hour, somtimes every 12
hours. no blue screnn, no eventlog...

Guys,
I setup an FTP server inside of IIS. It works great on the network. I can
test by looking to the local server and try my accounts and everything is

After shutting down the Web server and brought it backup the site will not
start. When I manually click on the site to start, I receive an error "The
process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I get this error when trying to start any web site.
"The format of the specified network name is invalid."
This happend after I installed the new security updates and restarted.
Any help in getting IIS back online would be great.
