site which I have created in IIS, it prompt for login ID & Password,when I
add IUSER account in local administrator group it works fine.Everyone has

i repost the question.
i use w2k pro sp3 with iis5 and from some days ago i can't see the
properties window of the web site preferred, but i see the window of ftp
server and smtp server.
i obtain only a popup window that say: mmc.exe have caused an error. it will
be closed.

I ran the IIS lockdown tool to lock down my server and it disabled EXEs
in my CGI folders.
How can I re-enable them? This is Windows 2000 Server and IIS 5.1, not
IIS 6.0

After upgrading IIS4 to IIS6 getting a page from the server is a pain when
running IE on Win2000. Same page is O'k if using the same version of IE on
WinXP. I noticed that IE takes 100% of processor for more than 20 sec when
