Hi, I have installed II6 and .NET Framework 2.0 RTM on WS2K3 with SP1.
After the installation I have configured ASP.NET 2.0 using aspnet_regiis -i
from command line.
When I try to start II6 I have the following error (sorry but it's
translated from italian, I think sound like this in english):
"Impossible to read the file. The file is used by another process."
I try to reinstall II6 and ASP.NET 2.0 but without results.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks to all in advance.

The only thing that I can think of in this situation would be to download a
tool called FILEMON from www.sysinternals.com that can show you the file
system activity in real time.

This may show you the file that is potentially locked and we may be able to
offer more help with this information.
