every once in while I get this . it ofcourse stops IIS.
any Idea where I should look. I am running windebug.
The run-time environment has detected an inconsistency in its internal state
and has terminated the process. Please contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to report this error. Error 800706BF from

What you should do is what the message recommends -- contact Microsoft
Product Support Services.

not the answer I was looking for.
to be honest. I have had better luck in saving time and gettting answer here
in the news groups than I ever did paying microsoft for answers.

I'm sorry that you feel that way -- I know of many good IIS troubleshooting
resources in PSS -- you probably didn't get to them for one reason or
another.

It seems like the error code is a popular one (though it means nothing other
than the call failed -- very generic), so it seems that someone will have to
debug this error on the server to make any progress in the particular
situation.

I have no debug rights on your server (nor is it ever anyone's job to do
this without a support contract/consent), so I am not certain how you are
ever going to make progress towards finding the answer you are looking for.
