Hello,

My question is, Does IIS come with any built-in report generating tools?
The reports I am looking for are very basic telling me hits per page and such.

Any help would be great.

Hi Dennis,

No, IIS does not come with any log analyser. Jeff has given you a list
with free and commercial log analyser software.

Microsoft has a free product called Log Parser, which can read the IIS log
files. You use SQL-similar syntax to get the information you want. So if
you know SQL, you might want to take a look at this product, because it is
very simple to use, but yet powerful.

Also see:

for more information about this product.

Good Luck!
