Hi!
I have an asp site on my local machine (http://localhost/...) residing in a
virtual directory. Sometimes the pages aren't loaded correctly. I can hit F5
and some of the images/fonts correct themselves but on the next F5 they

On Xp Pro I have iinstalled IIS and set the home cataloge of the default
website to point at a folder on my disk.
However at http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 IE6 still shoew a blank
screen.
What do I miss?

I am tring to install IIS on a XP SP2 machine.
This is the first try at it and after the it tries to install for a coupe of
seconds it starts looking for files to copy from the i386 folder. This

My IIS won't serve up a one-word HTML file (index.html) as configured
out of the box. Do I have to manually add .html and .htm to the MIME
Types in order for IIS to serve up these static pages?

Hi,
I just got IIS 6 installed on Windows Server 2003. When I connect to
my site from the same machine it works. When I try to access from my
home pc or any remote browser it does not. Not even for a single HTML
file.

built a sample ASP.NET Web app using Windows authentication. I can login no
