Odd problem with ampersand in file name...
When a file is being retrived from the W2k Adv Server it cannot find it
(404 error). When I put the same file on a W2k "Regular" server it

Setup: dotNet Framework 1.1 and 2.0 b2; Win2000 Server sp4
On my development machine, I see the ASP.NET tab when look at the property
of a site or virtual directory. This ASP.NET allows me to select the
framework version for that particular site.

Well, I have a network admin that is running this whatsup professional
software and for some reason it is hammering our web server with more than
10,000 hits per month. I'd like to block this machines IP address from
either the log files or from being reported on awstats.

Ampersand in url problem running Advanced Server 2000

Odd problem with ampersand in file name...
When a file is being retrived from the W2k Adv Server it cannot find it.
When I put the same file on a W2k "Regular" server it finds it just fine.
We have checked all the settings in the webserver and they are both SP 4

We've got a 2k3 server running our intranet site. About once a week, the
site becomes unavailable. I check the server, and there are no errors
reported, nothing in the event logs, etc. All services are running at this
time.

In IIS 5.0 I could have >1 catchall host header however in IIS 6.0 when
I try and set one up it will not let me use a catchall host header. Is

Domain Controller. The sites work fine with the exception of granting
