I notice a lot of large websites are broken into 'categories' in the domain
name. For example; support.microsoft.com or video.google.com or
maps.google.com etc..
I feel like a dork for not knowing this, but what exactly is going on with

We have two servers that our network manager will set up on our SAN. They
will be set up in an Active Passive configuration for IIS and SQL. IIS will
be active on SERVER1 and will fail over to SERVER2 and SERVER2 will be
active for SQL 2005 and fail over to SERVER1.

Just got a new box. Running XP Pro (MCE installed with box). Run
update and install IIS. DOT.NET V2 installed prior.
Also running SQL Express as database.
Start IIS and after a minute get a msg that service could not start in
a timely fashion.
