inetserver iis : IIS on Small Business Server 2003 for Intranet

I'm dont know much when it comes to IIS in terms of configuration. I'm using
IIS on our small business server to host an intranet.

I havent configured it in anyway at all, i have read that if i use frontpage
to design the site i would just put in http://companyweb into the upload
address and it wouuld work and it did. The intranet is working well and all
is great.

One little problem, i have also read that on the server there is a folder on
the c: drive called inetpub\wwwroot or companyweb and within this folder all
the files that i upload via frontpage should be stored. When i checked the
home directory in IIS it states c:/inetpub/companyweb.

I have looked in those particular folders and cannot find them, i've even
done a search on the entire c: drive to find particular files which i have
uploaded via frontpage but cannot find them. Even when i ping
http://companyweb i get the ip address of the small business server.

can anyone please tell me where the files i'm uploading using frontpage are
being stored? Am i looking in the wrong place or am i uploading them to
another location entirely?

Thanks

Is CompanyWeb a Sharepoint site? if so, then Sharepoint stores its content
inside a SQL Server database rather than as files on the server's hard disk.
