I downloaded VSE, and I had minimal experience with VS. I have a great
experience in programming, though.
After some days of struggling, I was able to define a sample database
from scratch, and a simple Visual C# application to edit a table from
it. Nice result, VSE seems interesting!

I am trying to understand what's in the .NET Framework that makes it
attractive for software companies to *require* .NET to be installed on
an end user PC for their application to work.
For exmaple PowerQuest DriveImage 7 is such a program.

There used to be some scaled down versions of vb.net 2005 and a couple of
others. I found the sqlsvr 2005 but cant locate the vb.net and the asp.net

Windows Update shows .Net Framework 2.? as a software update. I was
wondering if its needed by a non programmer like myself. Is there any

Java is mature...however, a beginner may not stand any chance to
compete against industry bigwigs. On the other hand, .NET is newer and
gives newbies a relatively firm foothold, since there are hardly

when i click on import table in C#.net
we have to retrieve all the tables from the DB and those have to be
converted into xml files with their respected names
