inetserver asp components : ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

I am trying to create a 'FileSystemObject', and get:
500.100 Internal Server Error - ASP Error,
Error Type:
(0x80040111)
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class;
I have searched IIS help, Microsoft Tech and can't resolve
the issue. I have XP pro.

Are you using CreateObject or Server.CreateObject? Do you
have any kind of anti-virus software running on your
machine? They often fiddle it so that FileSystemObject
cannot be scripted.

Thanks. Uninstalled McAfee virus scan, and IIS. Re-
installed IIS, got another 500.100 error. Also, McAfee
has 'scriptstopper', disabled that too after re-installed
Virus Scan S/W. Will post new msg.
