I haven't managed to get the selectedIndex functional yet with a multitabbed
form that reloads after accessing the data. I think i misrepresented it.

The options are selected from tab1. then submitted, the page reloads loading
tab2 with the selected data/options.

sure. Just keep in mind that you'll have to actually select a chapter (cannot
be "Old Testament" or "New Testament") and that the verse selection must at
least be 1 in either from verse/to verse options.
