coldfusion flash integration : Looking for Good Examples of CF Flash Integration

I'm very interested in CF and Flash integrated web sites. Are there many sites
that utilize this combined technology? I've seen Flash forms examples, but
I'm wondering how well this works for a whole web site. Also, what are some of
the drawbacks (slow response, having to learn to code with both ActionScript
and CF?).

Would anyone mind sending the URL's of a few of your favorite sites (prefer
business oriented sites, but personal ones will work also). Thanks.

i think flash forms and cf7 are a bit too new to see many sites using them
everywhere, (outside of mm). though the wild and crazy folks at
http://www.sustainablegis.com/projects/projection/gcs2utm.cfm though
illustrates the kind of app that i think benefits from flash forms, something
where the GUI hangs around while users do their work maybe for 30 to 45 minutes
at a stretch.

there are some other threads in this forum with examples.

Hi, I am also trying to integrate flash and coldfusion together. I
have a flash document ready to insert into a coldfusion site...but I
cannot seem to find any help as far as coding goes. In dreamweaver
it's so easy to plop in a flash file, but where do I begin in
coldfusion? The only tag I have scene is <embed src>. Is this what I
am looking for?
Any code samples are greatly appreciated, as I am very much an amateur!

I did a complete website manager with cf/flash remoting for the back end,
have a look :

You can download the demo if you want to look deeper.

Very cool site!! ... A few questions ...

- Can something like this be built using only CF and not PHP?? I would like
to do something like this, but have no desire to learn PHP.

- How do I go about uninstalling the demo so I will not be charged??

Thanks!

I am quite impressed with the examples, especially the Gerobase. But I'm
wondering, if this technology is really worth the investment in time and
effort. Would these sites/applications be just as good if they were only
written in CF (minus the Flash).

Another thought, is this possibly a technology that has high future value? It
certainly looks good. The sites that use CF/Flash all seem to have a "modern"
look.

Maybe this would be a good place for the Adobe/Macromedia folks to put some
energy and come up with an Object-Oriented platform (based on the best
features of CF, Flash/ActionScript and maybe PS/Illustrator). In terms of
visuals, it just might be able to compete in a Java/.Net dual universe.
