<cfabort> Any other options?? Cameron0612

coldfusion flash integration:
I'm using ColdFusion MX 7 and I am currently using a <cfif> statement to check
if the value of my search text field is empty, and stop further coldfusion code
processing using <cfabort> so that my query will not immediately display all
records. It works all too well. When I use this, it only displays the HTML in
the page down to where the <cfabort> tag is (within my <cfif> statement)

The question is: Do I have any other options here? Is there a coldfusion tag
that will allow me to skip the rest of the coldfusion block and pick up the
HTML where the cf ends? I have a footer that is not being displayed because of
this.

If you'd like to see the page as it is, the URL is
http://www.truckerstoystore.net/gallery.cfm

I have attached the entire page...

There are numerous ways you can do this, but if all you want is to
display one record before all the rest, you could just change the
<cfabort> to <cfflush>.
