what Tools of third party do they exist to make these tasks?

Hi,
1) Is this DB an XML file? If it requires some odbc config you may have
issues? I believe there is a third party tool that will allow a flash
projector to access local data. Do some searching in the data access or
advanced actionscript forum. Sorry can't be more specific.

2) I think Flash has some domain security issues. You may need to make call
to a remote server (coldfusion for example) and have that server make the data
updates.
