flash exchange extensions : Need help with FS SCORM

Hi, all...

I have a problem:

A client of mine is asking me to produce flash video pages for a SCORM test.
The issue is that whenever the page is opened, the lesson registers as
"completed", even when the user doesn't finish watching the video.

Is there some sort of actionscript I can add to the flash that signals when
the video is complete?

And help would be greatly appreciated.

eric,

How is the video created? What's the format? Do you only have an HTM
wrapper (which obviously communicates with the LMS and set's the completion
status) and the video file?

There are many ways to implement video. There are many ways to communicate
from Flash to a SCORM LMS. I'm assuming you have an HTM file that embeds
the video and the HTM file immediately sets the completion status. You
should either wait for an event or set an event when the video reaches the
end or past some frame.

Regards,

Andrew
