I can't figure this out. If I use shapes, no problem, but when tryng to punch text. nothing happens. Im definitly missing somethig here. Am I supposed to convert the text to ?????? before trying to cut it out? Masking doesn't do the trick either!

if you could explain or screen shot (if seen anywhere) how the punch would look like,
would be easier to come up with some suggestion.
