flash (macromedia) : Way To Import Multiple Frames Quickly?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to simply import more than one frame, say 10, into ONE layer. Any
way I try to import multiple frames at a time, it puts them all on separate
layers...and then I have to do a lot of work to get them all on the same
layer :(

Does anyone know of an easy way to just import a bunch of frames into one
layer? Using Flash MX, MX2004 or some other utility doesn't matter to me.

Thanks!

what do you mean by 'import multiple frames at a time'? If you mean a series
of images, it's no problem. All you gotta do is make sure your images are
sequentially numbered, ie: image_01.bmp, image_02.bmp,
image_03.bmp....image_N.bmp.

then ctrl+r to import, choose just the FIRST image, and Flash should prompt
you with a 'this image appears to be part of a sequence...import whole
sequence?' type dialogue. Choose yes, and Robert is your mother's brother.

If you mean something else, sorry for wasting your time :)

Peter,

Thanks for the reply. That's actually good to know, but I'm trying to import
a bunch of SWF's as single frames, all to the same layer. This is a
pre-production type thing....not a post-production feature or something. Any
help is greatly appreciated!
