flash (macromedia): Hi everyone,

I am in need of an eyedropper "tool" that an end user can use within a Flash
movie. I need them to be able to select a color/pixel/etc. of a dynamically
loaded JPG (bitmap). Has anyone come across such a thing? Any suggestions?

There is a component that allows you to use an eyedropper to select from a
color palette at:

but I need to be able to select a color from a bitmap. Maybe this component
could be re-written to allow that?

That's not possible in flash.

You can do it in Director/Shockwave, though.
