forget about older browsers - you wil just give yourself a recurring
headache whenever you make a new site..
i figure if it works fine on the latest 2 versions of the major
browsers (test on a mac too), then that's the limit of what you can
do.
there are just too many combinations of browser versions, plugin
versions, OS versions and flash versions to possibly test every one.
