flash (macromedia):
Can someone check this link and tell me why these pages load like this(designed in Fireworks) and how I can fix it. I am perplexed. It is a simple site I designed for a friend. But it loads in strips?

First , it is done out of stripes that's why display as it loads .
The entire site is made out of about 50 separate images.
Second most of it is PNG , not as popular file type as gif or JPG
and usually larger in size.

I would suggest instead of making the site an entire image, just do some tables,
give cells some background colors and type ordinary text using html .
By making all out of images you only going to suffer in case of modification ,
will need to redo entire image to make changes in single type mistake.
Way too time consuming.
My guess is you used some automated html output. These are never as good
as classic HTML and manual content alignment.

Actually, I created all the web pages in Fireworks and then just exported them to html format, dropped them in Dreamweaver and put them on server.
So you think I should redo by cut & pasting into say..Dreamweaver with tables? And then that would change the way it loads?

I know it will be more time consuming but I would suggest to use DW .
Especially for text. First in loads faster, second is the changes you might need to do.
With image you have to redo all and upload image and modified html , here you just retype
ordinary text. Less images , faster load .
