flash (macromedia): I'm trying to fade out one image and fade in another. In both cases when I choose Timeline Insert>Transition both the preview and the result in the timeline will not fade in and out unless the duration is at least 75 frames. How can I do a fade in of say 30 frames. If I try to do that it is white for 29 frames and then the graphic bursts on for the last frame - not the deisred effect.

I would suggest making it manually by yourself using tween or scripting.
the build in effects are extremely lame and only pump the file size.
It really is for extreme beginners. Won't be of much use for a long run unless
you want to clearly state that your site like hundreds of others at the moment
have been make with pre build lousy effects .
