dont go to photoshop. it rasterises your 3d from swift
go straight from swift to flash if you can

vectors are almost always smaller than rasterised eps's

if you do it in 3dsmax, you should add filters in 3dsmax thru videopost, or
(and) render not with swift but with default scanline buffer renderer, in
any case, you should use bitmap format for export....best way is png with
24-bit alpha channel, after that, you should have png sequence what you can
edit in photoshop too, or any raster editor or compositing soft..., after
you have it edited, just import sequence to flash, : file>import>select
first file (frame) in sequence and import, flash asks you that you want
sequence.... voila!

my tip for you:
import sequence not in _root (main) timeline, but before import insert>new
symbol>movieclip.., and import sequence in this movieclip..each file in
sequence places in separate frame... and you should be able to move scale
and use this sequence as a movieclip everywhere in your movie....just drag
it from library ( Ctrl+L ) into stage...

best wishes............(;
