Hi.
Can you tell me why onion skinning does not work in test movie or in publishing flash movie?
Thank you.

well, because onion skinning is a feature associted with frame-by-frame animation, as it allows you to see a ghosted image of keyframes prior or after the current frame as a reference. leaving onion skinning feature on does not mean it gets rendered with the exported movie simply because this is not the way the feature is intended to work.
if you want the onion skinning look to be exported, you must copy/paste your object multiple times and adjust the alpha of each one accordingly.
hope this helps.

it does work for me all the time.
But perhaps you misunderstand the purpose as you asking for 'Publish'
and Onion Skin is only for Authoring use . It is to fine exact positions
or shapes or instance while tween , it does not export as such .
Onion Skin demonstrate the tween path and all the changes happening along
so i you work on sync animation or some matching , we can adjust the tween
but it does not export Onion Skins per say....
