Swift 3d is it the best?As a standalone program, yes, Swift3D is it. =
You can import 3DS files as well as create your own models in there =
using the built-in tools.

If you're looking to do really advanced stuff, Maya 5 has Swift3D's =
latest rendering engine built right into it, and you can export much =
more complicated scenes in it (particle systems, etc.). There are also =
Swift3D plugins available for 3D Studio Max and Lightwave offering =
similar features. =20

I'm seriously considering purchasing Swift 3d v3 (www.swift3d.com), =
but my question is... it the program?

Yes, I know it all depends what I want it for, but as far as I know, I =
want a program that will allow me to add 3D elements into my Flash =
movies(with a reasonable file size).=20
I know Swift could do that for me (although it has limitations).

But I'm not sure if it has any competitors that I haven't seen yet. =
Does anything else come close?

Please let me know, Thanks
