Hi people, just wondeing if you knew if there is a way of importing vector objects created in Illustrator 10 with blending modes into Flash MX?

In Illustrator I simple export the swf format and import it into Flash.

There's got to be an easy way than:

Creating the Blend mode in AI >> opening it up in Photoshop, sampling the colours that the blend mode created ?? then opening up the file in Flash and manually enter the Hexidecimal code that produces the same colour as the blending mode.

I'm hardly using Illustrator anymore, but u could try saving to an older
illustrator version an export then to swf. You may also dive into the google
archives, as I remember this question having been asked in the past (link
below)

Do such objects remain vector when exported from ai as swf? (perhaps
they are rasterized on export from ai regardless of format). -Tom Unger

They remain in vector when iexported from AI in the swf format, I'm pretty sure that if I raterized the graphics then the blending mode applied would be intact, but this totally takes away from why I am doing it in Illustrator in the first place; to maintain vector elements as vector.

I'm not as familiar with ai as I am with Freehand, so I was not sure if
these objects are indeed vector, or objects that remain "vector editable"
only in AI itself. The only options I'm aware of are to export as swf for
import to flash, downsave to a flash compatible ai version for import to
flash (as suggested in another reply), and copy/paste. Hopefully one of
these will work.
