flash (macromedia) : installation

I have downloaded the flashplayer7.exe file and am attempting to install the flash player with the mozilla firebird 0.7 browser. It asks me to point to the plugins on a netscape compatible browser. I point it to the MozillaFirebird\plugins directory. It says "directory not found" and that "setup could not find your bowser's plugins folder"?

Any tips on how to install this player will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi llnaberis,

I've been running Mozilla Firebird for about a month now and it's working great.

The installer can't see the folder, so as you have already done, browse to the plugins directory.

The dialog box still shows the "directory not found" error, but the "Install" button is available. Click this, and it should install for you.

If it doesn't work, I'm not sure why, you might want to try reinstalling the browser, or try the Firebird forums, though I haven't seen problems.
