I downloaded the patch for Flash MX 2004 and this is the error it gives me when trying to install it

Old File not Found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

This is very annoying.

Hi ajy,

The updater checks for a full release version of Flash. If another release is installed on your system (for example, you may be a beta tester), this updater will not run.

To resolve the issue, uninstall Flash and reinstall the release version, then run the update.

Your preferences or personal configuration files won't be removed unless you delete the folders manually.

Ok thanks I'll give that a try

I only installed from the version of STudio MX 2004 we purchased, but I will give it a try anyway. I didnt have any trials or beta installed for Flash MX 2004.

I do wish there was some way to avoid the trouble this is causing me and time out from my work. Very frustrating.

Thanks for trying to help though. I'll post here if it doesnt work.
