Ok, I am familiar with Live Motion, Swish and a bunch of other flash imposters... but a project I am working requires FLASH source code... so Here I Go To Learning.

To the point. Using Flash MX '04 - I need to fade in and out images, to music... It is so simple to do in LiveMotion and Swish... but I can't figure out the danged way to make images (bitmaps) fade in and out. If I attemp to use the transition - I can't add an additional transition (fade in - can't fade out)...

Someone know of a tutorial I could learn from? Or a very basic book?

You want to make a motion tween right?

Import your image place it in your stage select frame 60 for example and
press F6 now select all those frames from the first one to the last, now
right click, select creat motion tween, the frames turned blue right? with a
arrow..?? Now select the last frame and in the properties tab in the colour
dropdown sdelect alpha and set it to 0% CTRL+ENTER and your in...

Hope it helps...

If i didn´t help you at all i guess help from flash should say how to do
this right at the beginning...Just use F1
