For some reason whenever i view a webpage that has a .swf logo/whatever on it, it will cause IE to freeze for a few seconds and most of the time it will resize the browser window (doesn't resize all the time, but most of the time)

Using IE 6.0
and flash player 7.0
did it with 6.0flash aswell.

Anyone know what could be causing this/how to fix it?

it does it on ANY page with a .swf file on it.
ad's/logo's/anything .swf.

like for example,
www.genmay.com

the logo there.

www.hardforums.com
the logo there.

I will not be able to help you on this one.
I check both URL and don't experience any problem.
No clue how ot star trouble shoot as I can't manage to get
any freeze .
I would check out on your end and start with removing and reinstall player, than perhaps
refresh the OS and reinstall the browser.
I ask my staff , check on 11 computers and none experience problem.
Not likely it's some kind of general issue .

Sorry , can't be of much help

I have a similar problem on one computer.
Any time I go to any page that has FLASH content it
freezes the computer to a point were ?Ctrl+Alt+Del?
dose nothing.
Computer needs to be re-booted (WinXP).
One of the URLs that freezes the computer is
www.uptoten.com (then go to ?UpToTen KIDS?).
Actually, www.macromedia.com will freeze it too.

Computer: XP, 512 MB Ram, ATI Rage 128, IE 6.0.28
Flash player: 7.0.14

New installation of XP.
Loaded all drivers (from the motherboard CD).
All MS recommended updates (Service packs, etc).
Loaded and re-loaded the video drivers?

Any suggestions?
