flash (macromedia):
Flash 5 - Objects Move With New Keyframe

I've been using Flash a little more than usual recently. I'm also running Flash in Classic from Panther. I noticed a strange little bug where my objects move just a little after adding a new keyframe and adjusting opacity of one. I keep fixing them over and over and they keep moving.

Does this happen with MX 1 or MX 2004?

Doesn't ever happen to me in MX, PC.XP.

Possible work-around: don't create keyframes on the timeline(F6) but instead create copies of last keyframe(Alt+Drag). Get's the exact same results. Hopefully that won't create the problem as well.

Beally,

Thanks for your swift reply. I've tried copying and pasting keyframes, but haven't tried Alt-Dragging. I'll see if that helps.

No, that doesn't help.

BTW, the object doesn't seem to move until I change the opacity at one of the keyframes.

So... I guess I'm still wondering if Flash MX or Flash MX 2004 has any problems like this?

Is this a documented bug?

I have a client expecting me to finish his job today. I don't know why the images keep nudging.

I was able to locate a Flash MX (not 2004) and am waiting for delivery.

Based on what I've read so far, it seems this version runs well on Panther. I just hope that what appears to be a keyframe move bug with vs. 5 will be resolved.
