This a home PC or one at your company?

If company, looks as if your IT people do not have permissions on for downloading plug-ins.

I have this same problem, and can't install flash on IE6.0, winXP. "Object doesn't support this property or method". When I debug the script, the error line is in onload function:

if (id != null && id != '') window.document[id].SetVariable('getURLOK','true');

This looks like more of a script compatibility problem, not about permissions for downloading plug-ins.

But if it is about downloading plug-ins, where would I change the setting? I don't see any browser options for that, and all my security settings are wide-open, far as I can tell. This is my own system, not a corporate network.

Thanks!
