flash (macromedia):
my first problem is when i import certain gifs, parts of the frames of the gifs are kinda scrambled.
also when i import gifs they appear in the liberary as a bunch of pictures with numbers, but they arnt all in order as the gif animation should be.

my second problem is that when i export video on flash any animation within a symbol doesnt show, except for the first frame. but any animation not within a symbol works fine and shows the animation.

gif is nothing more than frame by frame animation , once imported it is in in flash images
sequence and that's how it appears in library.

Again , as said above, video like gif are frame by frame animations , images sequence.
They do not contain any kind of interaction . Movie clips are independent timelines
and they can't be recognized as part of the video.
You will need to change the movie clip behaviors ot graphic so it play just
lime images sequence and make sure there is sufficient frames on main timeline to run the clip.
If the main timeline ends, your clip will as well.
