flash (macromedia): Hello,
my name is Baldur and im a 14 year old boy from Iceland,
i'm making a Role Playing Game in flash and i was wondering
if and then how you could make is so that is you sellect a girl character
then there is allway's a picture of her and the same about the boy
so on if you would select a blue lamp or a red lamp then in future progress it would be like it?
somebody know that?

Ectoplasms,
Baldur

Are you a beginner at flash? Because these questions are really easy. Try
asking a forums for answers. Search flashkit.com too. Good luck.

[quoted text, click to view]

There really is many ways .
You could load character in level , have multiple swf , one for each character.
YOu could set up global variable on the root of the movie and based on result attach
particular move and so on .........

To save it for future you can use shared object . Share object is like cookies.
Allow to write data on user drive , from browser and from standalone exe projector.
Plus it's cross OS and cross browser.
I use it for similar purpose in games or trainings or desktop tools like kiosks
where user can save favorite background with button click and load it automatically next time it's open.

check for samples the technote link :
"See TechNote 16194 for a demonstration of a local shared object
