flash (macromedia):
Im trying to make a really simple movie and I cant seem to make it work. I have both Flash 4 and Director 7 - which would be best to make an advertisment movie?

Can you give us a bit more info? What do you want to happen in this movie, how long should it be?

Ideally, I would like to make a mini commerical. I dont need sound or anything, just some examples of how our product works. I've been toying around with both Flash and Director for about a week and I just dont know which would be best to make this project, or even where to start.

Well, I'd use flash. I would do the tutorials that come with it. Learn about tweening, using buttons and a bit a bit of basic actionscript.

If you like, you can write and say what would happen in the first part of the commerial and I'll try and recreate it for you and then send you the file to have a look at. Are you using MX or Flash 5?

Flash seems confusing at the start, so don't worry too much. Can I suggest a site for tutorials to get you started:

I think that's the address.
