i have a bizarre problem with my copy of Flash MX. it allows me to type in a few lines of type, but anytime i try to type or import in a substantial block of type (say 200 words or more) all of a sudden
it goes to the hourglass and gets frozen on the hourglass. i've tried re installing the software, pasting
the type from every other application i have, pasting it off stage and then dragging it, importing it into the library instead of directly onto the stage NOTHING WORKS! would really appreciate some advise.

and does macromedia offer any support whatsoever that you don't have to pay for. i am a small architecture firm with few resources. we paid $500 the software - may not sound like a lot to most, but it is to us. so if the product is faulty, is there nothing i can do? help!!!

I've never heard of this problem, so it's unlikely the product itself is faulty.

What are the specs of your machine - processor/speed/memory/OS, etc? Are your video drivers up to date? Are there any unusual tasks running on your machine?
