flash (macromedia):
I have an animation that I need a little help with.

At about frame 120, I need to have about 25 of the same instance, (a bee) to be distributed to different layers, as I need to tween them all individually in different directions.
Problem is if I put them all on 1 layer initially, then select them all and 'distribute to layers' it creates 25 new layers as it should, but puts them all right at the beginning of my movie.
I suppose this is to be expected, but I wondered if anyone new how to distribute them to continue on to the next frame in the movie, 121 etc.

Have I explained myself correctly? If I cant do this, I could create 25 new layers manually, but that seems a bit cumbersome to me.

Thanks in advance, I do hope someone can help as preferably I need it running for the weekend. :-)

There are two things you can do.

1-Create the bees' bizzing animation in a symbol and import it at your specific frame once your done.

2-Put your bees' layer at the botton frame, to make it easier to "clean up" after that. Once that's done, select all the specific frame 120 of your animation, right click andn add a key frame. Then clean up the other stuff.

3-select and drag all of your keyframes on the first frame on all layer and move them to frame 120. Unless your layers and stage are already jammed, it should take seconds.

It's not so bad!

Good luck
