flash (macromedia) : Fitting Text To Path

There isn't a way to type text in and have it curve to a path, but using
actionscript, you could create movie clips, with text boxes in them, put the
letters you want in separate text boxes nested inside movieclips, then tell
the movie clip to rotate or align accordingly around a circle. This is the
hard way of getting text on a path. If you want an easier way, type the
text around a path in illustrator and then copy and paste the text layer
into Flash.

I am sure this is a stupid question...but anyway...

Is there a way to fit text to path...such as a circle, so that the text wraps around the outside ect.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply!
Sometimes its frustrating when something is so simple :)
I just imported it from fireworks, worked very slick.

It is interesting how those MM products work together. Adobe doesnt
integrate quite as well, but I have found Illustrator to work sometimes with
Flash. The good thing about Illustrator or Freehand is you are working with
vectors. I know Fireworks and Photoshop have paths too, but I always feel
like I can rely on the vector programs more.

Anyway, glad it worked for you.
