flash (macromedia):
I'm having real problems installing the latest flash player.
I have a Toshiba Portege 4010 laptop, with a 933MHz process, 40GB HD and 512MB of RAM, running Windows XP. I have all Windows Service packs and all updates for Internet Explorer.

When i go to the install site, I click download and sit there forever. I went to the help sections and followed all the suggestions, down to un-installing the old version, rebooting, and then installing using the downloaded insalation option. Still no sucess. The test page gives me a blank Flash player window.

What can i do now?

Hi, this wont help but you'll find out you aren't alone. Check the file "Help, I can't install" or words to that effect. Everyone is having the problem.
