flash (macromedia):
Hi, I 'm a video Editor and I use to work in Final Cut Pro. For our new project I have to use some flash movies. Two to be more specific. I import ona of those with flash MX and it works, it opens every frame and then I could export ir to Quick time movie. For the second one I try to do the same thing but when I import it with flash it only open ONE frame. But when I play it with the flash player it show me the hole movie. Somebody could give a hand to import the hole flash movie? I really appreciate this. Thanks Cesar
escenario, Post the file you're having trouble with and I'll give it a go (If you're importing to the library first it will always be one frame because it will become a symbol automatically) Regards, Rangar Talisman
Thanks for answer. Could you explian-me what I will have to do the next time. Thanks and regards.
escenario, You can zip the file, it has no problem with .zip files Unfortunantly I only hae a private email address, sorry. But the zip thing'll work fin nonetheless. Sorry for the incinvenience! Regards Rangar Talisman
Here's the zip file. Thanks again
escenario, I'm working on it now, the swf you have only imports the first frame, as you said. I am trying to convert the .swf into an avi or mpg file and then import it into Flash. What version of Flash are you using? If you have Flash MX 2004 Professional it'll be okay, if you are using Flask MX, I'll need to inport the movie file into Flash 4, so let me know which you're using, okay. You wrote Flash MX, but you might have meant Flash MX 2004, I just want to clarify. I'll let you know tomorrow. By the way, that is a nice presentation introduction, was that with Director of Flash or combination or what? Very smooth stuff! Regards, Rangar Talisman
escenario, Well, I know what it is. Your entire video / swf file is all on one frame. There is no way to convert it out in that form. However, a friend of mine is in town on Thursday, and he has like fifteen different screen capture programs, so I'll get him to play the video at 100% in windowed mode and capture it that way. So I'll have it for you by Friday, okay. But it won't be laid out like it would be in Flash, each frame will be individual, making for a HUGE Flash file. But it is the best that could possibly be done with the swf file the way it is. I'll let you know Thursday afternoon/friday morning how things went. If you want, you can try screen capturing if you have those resources available to you (and it sounds to me like you might). Regards, Rangar Talisman
