flash (macromedia): How do I add a skip intro button in flash so people have the choice to skip the
into if they so choose. I have created a preload, flash animation. All I need
to do now is add a skip button within the movie. I know you can just add a
hyperlink within dreamweaver, but I want to do it in flash. Also I know how to
make buttons just not sure with inputting them into video. Thanks. I am a
newbie. Can you tell? :-)

snuflupukis,

You could try a real simple way. From the moment the intro clip starts, a
button with text name "Skip" appears on the top layer. If the user pressed it,
use a good old "GoAndPlay" type command. If it is still a .swf that will work
fine. If you're using .exe to load external video clips, do the same thing, but
before moving to whatever frame is after that video, UnLoad the video you were
playing. Me thinks that's what you were asking...?
