flash (macromedia): Hello!
I?m beginning to learn Flash and now I?ve got a quite big problem.
I wanted to make a little movie where a text ist turned and faded in and out.
So I started Flash and created a new movie. I typed in my text and created a
new keyframe after 50 frames (at 12 fps).
I turned the text in Frame 50 and made a Motion Tween between Frame 1 and 50.
So I wanted to test this little movie. I pressed [CTRL] + [ENTER] and the
movie was rendered. But I didn?t saw anything. Then for a very short moment my
text appeared and was gone just a few milliseconds later.
When I open one of the examples and render it everything works.
So, what could be the problem?

Greetings, Florian

P.S.: Please excuse my bad English. I?m German... :-|

Hi Florian

First remember to Always convert text to instance (movie clip , graphic or buttons).
You can't tween text itself. Than remember that flash can not render Dynamic text , unless
you include font outlines.
First type text , make sure it's STATIC. After typing select it and hit CTRL F3 to open properties
panel. Set it to Static there.
Next , select it and hit F8 (create new instance) , make a movie clip or graphic out of it.
Now make the tween - should be working.

YEAH!
It?s been that thing with Static Text. But how could the setting change on its own? I did not click there...

Thanks a lot!

the dynamic is the default setting , sometimes when you crash flash can go back to last default
and change it back to dynamic.
Anyhow, good you got it working right.
