Flash CPU usage 100% -- flash (macromedia)

flash (macromedia) : Flash CPU usage 100%

ANY action i take in flash mx, or MX 2004 pro causes my cpu usage to go to 100%.
even trying to select a simple symbol on the stage I get the hourglass for
about 10 seconds... I have a new PC, with a Gig of Ram.
Flash is the only program that acts this way... anyone have any idea how to
fix this ?? help greatly appreciated.

i had the same problem, but mine ended up being linked to using flash and
adware on my computer...the adware wouldnt affect my computer when not using
flash, so i dunno what the deal with that is...maybe scan your sys for adware...

hi,
can anyone confirm that uninstalling adaware worked for them?? a few of my animators just ran into this problem...
