flash (macromedia):
this is causing me a headache!!!
I have a 7 minute video to play. I have it in a swf and it is 23MB.
Is there a way of playing it without having it pre-loaded?
I thought that maybe I could simply use the loadmovie action but if I do is
there a way to make it play after loading a certain percentage of the movie.
Then at least the user can watch something as the rest is loading in.
I really hope one of you can help with this as I've spent hour after hour
trying to figure it out.
Thanks.

stream ?

check your help files, loading video has ability to stream it, load and run - load and run
w/o need of preloader . Of course , even if stream , it still need user to have good connection
or you need to work on optimizing it so it is less in size.
