Hi, I'm using an external .txt file as the source of text loaded into a dynamic
text box in Flash. It all works fine except when I use the <li> tag to
generate bullet points, I can't control the colout of the bullets. I'm using
white text throughout as I have a dark background, but the bullet points always
come out black. Any ideas welcome, Mark

I assume that you are putting your text from the text file into a dynamic text
field - one other question, do you have the dynamic text set to be html?
what is your code for getting the text into the field?

yep, I'm putting the text from the text file into a dynamic text box. The text
box is also using the Dynamic Text Feeder component from Flashloaded
(http://www.flashloaded.com/dynamictext.php ). I've enabled it to read HTML
code from the txt file, which looks like this: content=<font
color="#FFFFFF"><font size="10">Brett Murray is
the Founder of the D.A.R.E. Organisation.<br><br>Why do people
listen to Brett
Murray?"<br><br><b>Experience</b><br><br&g
t;<li>Brett Murray was the Manager of the successful automotive training
program for youth at risk, Hand Brake Turn Parramatta in
2002.</li><br> Setting the HTML text to TRUE in the component
overrides the other component control parameters, so my setting of colour at
#FFFFFF in the text file should work, which it does, for the text. It's just
the bullet point that seems to have a mind of it's own.

[quoted text, click to view]

There is no way to control bullets.
All you need to do is use Text Object and color your text entirely than the bullets
will follow. This of course won't be of any use if you have multi color text
formatting. But , that's the only way.
