flash (macromedia): it goes to a static picture? I have to make a HTML page whereby I just want to
display a small flash banner, but if the client side doesn't have the flash
player, instead I show a static picture. anyone knows how to do that?

just use the publish function in flash, it will allow you to determine a
picture that is shown if the player is not installed correctly.
Within the "publish movie" menu you should be able the select a publish
template, whith flash detection.
