You can't. That's kind of a security thing. The Flash player has never been
able to access OS level settings like that. Flash would probably be rejected as
a technology if it had that deep of control over a user's box. I think you
really need to rethink your movie if that's the only solution you can come up
with. Tell us what you're trying to do and let's see if anyone here can help.
